Stream processing

It is designed to act on real-time and streaming data with “continuous” queries. With data that is constantly streaming from social networks, there is a definite need for stream processing and also streaming analytics to continuously calculate mathematical or statistical analytics on the fly within these streams to handle high volume in real time.
